Kathy Miller
CEO / CO-Founder

As the passionate Founder and CEO of Gentle Shepherd Home Care, LLC a Home Care (non-medical) business which serves seniors and the chronically ill in Colorado Springs and surrounding areas. I founded Gentle Shepherd Home Care in 2016 because I am “that family” with elderly parents and in-laws. Like many families, my search to find qualified, compassionate and qualified caregivers for my loved ones proved to be a huge challenge. I feel a love, passion and dedication for Seniors and their families and have a strong desire to help them find qualified and loving care for their elderly or chronically ill family members. Based on my 32- year experience as an Executive leader within the Staffing Industry I was confident I could provide compassionate, passionate and highly qualified caregivers to assist families just like mine with care for their loved ones. In 2016, I made the heartfelt and strategic decision to fulfill my “purpose” and opened Gentle Shepherd Home Care. I have been extremely blessed as I absolutely love what I am doing.

Throughout my career, I have served in many leadership roles and been an innovative organizational leader with expertise in transforming and building results driven teams. I began my career as a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a degree in Accounting/Finance. After earning my degree, I worked in the Banking/Mortgage Industry as CPA for the first twelve years of my career. From there I moved to Sales and Marketing within the staffing industry and finished my corporate career as a Vice President with Adecco, a Global Fortune 500 Staffing company. My long tenure in “Corporate America” included but was not limited to the following; enterprise-level new business development, corporate training, operations, recruiting, strategic planning, compliance, financial, budgetary responsibilities and management within the Western U.S.  Additionally, my expertise includes relationship building, value-based sales, change management and out-of-the-box problem solving skills which were an asset to the clients and organizations I served.
